What is MyNextera Web
Portal?
Nextera has a web portal available
for all customers to manage
their accounts. The portal, MyNextera, is accessible via a secure
log-on from any Internet Browser by entering your User
Name and Password. The log-on is located on every Nextera.net webpage
(click on 'Log-On To MyNextera' within the header). MyNextera
can also be accessed from its own unique website URL being
MyNextera.net.
The menu items associated with MyNextera are as
follows:
- Account: Identified within the
Account screen will be your account number, account status,
active since dates, username, account name, addresses, and
your payment method. Many of the fields are editable
by clicking 'edit' in the appropriate box and making
adjustments.
- Billing/Invoices:
Includes the current billing cycle, next payment due
date, current balance, and a billing history section where
you will see invoice date, invoice number, total
due, payment date, and payment method. You will be
able to print your invoice from this section. The capability
to make a one-time or monthly recurring payment is
also available if you are not already
established with a recurring payment.
- Call Activity: You will be able to
view your current month and 2 prior months' calls for all of
your Nextera telephone numbers. You can sort by date,
time, from number, to number, city/state, or duration.
You can also download as a .csv file to pull into your
spreadsheet software (such as Excel) for further
manipulation.
- Features: All of your existing
features will be identified. You will be able to
configure all of those features at any time and as often as
you'd like. If you are the administrator of the
account, you will also be able to link to the Add-On
capability to add new lines, services, and/or
features.
- Add-Ons: This menu item allows you to
add more lines, services, and/or features to your
account.
- UCM (Unified Call
Messaging): If you have
subscribed to the UCM service, this link will send you to
your message center. From the message center, you can
listen to both your voicemails and emails and view your
faxes. Note that UCM also allows you to access your
mailbox via the telephone and listen to both your voicemails
and emails and receive notification of new faxes that you
can send to a remote printer.
- 911 Address Change: As a VoIP
subscriber, you can take your Nextera service with you while
you travel simply by plugging your Nextera adapter into any
broadband connection. In order that emergency services
can find you if you dial 911 while traveling, your address needs
to be updated. Simply click on this menu item to
make address edits.
- Add Users: As the administrator/owner
of your account, you can choose to add users that will be
able to also log-on to the MyNextera portal. The users
will only see 1 telephone number each and will only be able
to access the features, 911 address change, UCM, and change
password menu items.
- Change Password: You can change your
password at any time by entering your current password,
entering a new password and confirming that new
password.

How do I log into
MyNextera?
You can log into MyNextera in
two ways. Either log-in from any page on the Nextera.Net VoIP
website by clicking on the 'Log-in to MyNextera' link located at the top
center. You may also log-in using the website MyNextera.net. Your User Name and
Password are created when you sign up for a Nextera account.

What is my MyNextera username and
password?
Your User Name and Password are created by you when
you sign up for a Nextera account. You can change your password
from the 'Change Password' menu item.

What if I forget my
password?
If you forget your password, click on
the 'Forgot Your Password?' link below the MyNextera Log-In Box. You
will then be asked to provide information to identify you as the
account owner.
A new password will be sent to you via
e-mail.

How can I change my
password?
Once logged in to MyNextera, click on
the Change Password menu item. You will enter your existing
password, a new password and a confirmation of the new
password.

What types of payments
will Nextera accept?
Nextera accepts monthly recurring
payments including Visa, Discover, Mastercard, and Diners credit
cards or ACH payments from either your checking or savings
account.

Why can't I see all of the
MyNextera menu items?
As the administrator/owner
of the account you will be able to view all menu items. Users
will be able to access features, UCM, 911 address change, and change
password.
