VoiceMail
Nextera's VoiceMail service allows callers to
leave messages when you are not available to answer your phone.
Callers are routed to your voicemail after a selectable number of rings,
they will hear your voicemail greeting and have the option to leave a
message. Messages are retrievable from your Nextera telephone by
dialing *86 or from any telephone just by dialing your Nextera telephone
number and pressing the * key. You can establish the number of rings
before callers will hear your voicemail greeting within MyNextera web
portal. |

Unified Call Messaging
Unified Call Messaging (UCM)
allows you to control all of your messages -- voicemail, e-mail and
fax.
Voicemail: With Nextera's UCM, you receive all the
functionality of a traditional system that allows you to check your
voicemail remotely from any telephone. However, Nextera adds the
capability to listen to your voicemail through your computer by accessing
your on-line inbox.
Email: UCM is also a robust e-mail
program that allows you the standard capabilities of composing, reading,
replying to and deleting email plus so much more -- with specialized
text-to-speech converter, you can also listen to your email over the
phone!
Faxes: UCM allows you to receive faxes in your inbox,
sign and return, route to a printer or to a remote fax machine or store on
your computer. You will also be informed of your faxes from your
telephone and can forward to a remote fax machine.
With UCM, all of
your messages are in one location to access either by telephone or online,
