Anonymous Call Rejection

With Nextera's Anonymous Call Rejection, you can prevent a caller from reaching you when the caller has blocked the display of his/her Caller ID number.  Only deliberate anonymous numbers are rejected.  Callers whose numbers are unavailable are not rejected.  Your phone does not ring and you do not receive any indication that they called.

Call Block  (Outgoing)

Call Block allows you to block and unblock long distance and cellular calls.

You can turn on long distance call block by using the phone feature *342.  An announcement confirms that call blocking has been activated.  To turn off Call Block, use MyNextera OnLine Account Manager, then Features, Making Calls, and Call Block menu items.

Do Not Disturb

Do Not Disturb allows you to temporarily prevent incoming calls.

Limit unwanted interruptions by enabling Do Not Disturb simply by using phone feature *78 for activation and *79 for deactivation.

Reminder Call

Reminder Call allows you to schedule an announcement to ring on your phone line.  Reminders can be set for a one-time situation up to 24 hours in advance or can be regular reminders that are repeated at the same time every day, every weekday or a specific day of the week.

You can establish your reminder settings within MyNextera Web Portal or by using the individual reminder phone feature *310 to activate and *311 to deactivate.  To schedule repeat reminders, use phone feature *314 to activate and *315 to deactivate.

Selective Call Rejection

Selective Call Rejection allows you to create a list of up to 10 numbers from which incoming calls are automatically rejected.  When the parties on the list attempt to call, they will receive a recorded announcement.

You can establish the list of phone numbers to be rejected within MyNextera Web Portal or by using the phone feature *60.

Speed Call - 8 or 30

Speed Calling allows you to dial a pre-defined number by simply dialing either one or two digits.  Speed Dial 8 allows you to set up to eight speed dial numbers that can be called with the push of a button.   Speed Dial 30 allows you to set up to 30 speed dial numbers that can be called with the push of two buttons.

You can establish your speed dial list within MyNextera Web Portal or by using the phone feature *74 for 1-digit speed dialing or *75 for 2-digit speed dialing.

VoiceMail

VoiceMail allows callers to leave messages when you are not available to answer your phone.  Callers are routed to your voicemail after a selectable number of rings, they will hear your voicemail greeting and have an option to leave a message.  Messages are retrievable from your Nextera telephone by dialing *86 or from any telephone just by dialing your Nextera telephone number and pressing the * key.

You can establish the number of rings before callers will hear your voicemail greeting within MyNextera Web Portal.
