Anonymous Call
Rejection
With Nextera's Anonymous Call Rejection, you can
prevent a caller from reaching you when the caller has blocked the display
of his/her Caller ID number. Only deliberate anonymous numbers are
rejected. Callers whose numbers are unavailable are not
rejected. Your phone does not ring and you do not receive any
indication that they called.

Call
Block (Outgoing)
Call Block allows you to block and unblock long distance and cellular
calls.
You can turn on long distance call block by using the
phone feature *342. An announcement confirms that call blocking has
been activated. To turn off Call Block, use MyNextera OnLine Account
Manager, then Features, Making Calls, and Call Block menu items.

Do Not
Disturb
Do Not Disturb allows you
to temporarily prevent incoming calls.
Limit unwanted interruptions by enabling Do Not
Disturb simply by using phone feature *78 for activation and *79 for
deactivation.

Reminder Call
Reminder Call allows you to schedule an
announcement to ring on your phone line. Reminders can be
set for a one-time situation up to 24 hours in advance or can be
regular reminders that are repeated at the same time every day, every
weekday or a specific day of the week.
You can establish your
reminder settings within MyNextera Web Portal or by using the
individual reminder phone feature *310 to activate and *311 to
deactivate. To schedule repeat reminders, use phone feature *314 to
activate and *315 to deactivate.

Selective Call Rejection
Selective Call Rejection allows you to create a list of up to 10 numbers
from which incoming calls are automatically rejected. When the
parties on the list attempt to call, they will receive a recorded
announcement.
You can establish the list of phone numbers to
be rejected within MyNextera Web Portal or by using the phone feature
*60.

Speed Call - 8 or
30
Speed Calling allows you to dial a pre-defined number by simply dialing
either one or two digits. Speed Dial 8 allows you to set up to eight
speed dial numbers that can be called with the push of a
button. Speed Dial 30 allows you to set up to 30 speed dial
numbers that can be called with the push of two
buttons.
You can establish your speed dial
list within MyNextera Web Portal or by using the phone
feature *74 for 1-digit speed dialing or *75 for 2-digit speed
dialing.

VoiceMail
VoiceMail allows callers to leave messages when you are not available to
answer
your phone. Callers are routed to your voicemail after a selectable number
of rings, they will hear your voicemail greeting and have an
option to leave a message. Messages are retrievable from your Nextera
telephone by dialing *86 or from any telephone just by dialing your
Nextera telephone number and pressing the *
key.
You can establish the number of rings before
callers will hear your voicemail
greeting within MyNextera Web Portal.
